  9. The scones look very tasty.
I didn't know your sister bred chickens. They do look healthy but I guess under
those warm lights that would be expected. I suppose these are incubated chicks??
Guess what - a final day for Easter and the sun is shining! Might just stagger the returning
holiday makers and there will be less accidents. So far this year road fatalities are way up.
Patience seems to be no longer a virtue on the roads. The police and emergency services
are pulling their hair out in desperation and disgust!
    Cheers

  14. In New Zealand Easter arrives in Autumn, and yet so many of our Easter traditions are linked to the Spring, the chickens and Easter eggs and new life in flowers. Hope you had a great Easter, bet those scones were good.

  16. Wishing I had a hot scone now. (I think scones are a sweeter version of our southern biscuits. Right?)
